Orlando Organizes Rally In Response to Trump Re-Election Announcement
“Hate, division, and greed have no place in Florida,” said Christopher J. Cuevas, Orlando resident and one of the rally organizers. “The Trump Administration has demonized our most marginalized communities to distract from their own blatant corruption and incompetence. We welcome the opportunity to show the President that Florida isn’t falling for it; we embrace our differences, fight for all marginalized communities, and are ready to win with love.”
Details are as follows:

ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND:
One week after the 3-year remembrance of the Pulse Nightclub massacre, days before the 50th anniversary of the NYC Stonewall Riots, the event that catalyzed the contemporary LGBTQ+ rights movement, and on the eve of Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States, Floridians will take to the streets of Orlando, together against Trump, with a message of resilience and love. In the aftermath of Pulse, Orlando has become synonymous with strength through unity and inclusion. That response is the antidote needed to cure a country currently held hostage by a White House driven by hate, division, and greed.
Details regarding rally logistics and programming will be released in the coming days.
