Hamza Boom became interested in Islamic religion and spirituality while teaching English in Lithuania. After fourteen years of intensive study of Christian theology and history, culminating in his current doctoral program in history at Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Hamza converted to Islam in January 2009. This course is a distillation of his research into the essential points of Islam.
