A one-hour service will be held to learn about how the folks at church do their Sunday morning worship services.
The Faith Trio (who take turns hosting the annual Harvest Dinners) will be holding similar ‘learning’ services this coming year at Kehilla Synagogue and at the Islamic Cultural Center.
During the May 3 service, Pastor Karen will teach on the nature of Christian worship in the “Reformed” tradition. There will be a sharing of “blessed bread” (not communion) and there will be a small repast/social hour after the service.
From 11:30-12:30 there will be a discussion about the role of bread as a part of worship and time for questions.
