Traditionally at Mehregan, the abundance of fresh crops gathered by farmers during the autumn harvest is celebrated.
The Mehregan festival is a public event to be enjoyed by all Novocastrians. The festival at Civic Park will consist of different activities. There will be a variety of traditional dancing, folkloric music, Farsi Calligraphy, traditional costumes and traditional food.
