Join us in celebrating the legacy of legendary Iranian-American theatre artist Reza Abdoh, who died of AIDS in 1995 at the age of 32. With his company Dar A Luz, formed in 1991, Abdoh created plays that made a major impact on American experimental theatre, including The Law of Remains (1992), Tight Right White (1993) and Quotations From a Ruined City (1994). The Segal Center will pay homage to his work with an all-day program co-curated by Helen Shaw, featuring:

AFTERNOON READING: 4:30pm: Reading by original Dar a Luz members Tony Torn, Tom Pearl, and Peter Jacobs, who are joined by David Greenspan. Followed by a discussion.
