The Iranian American Society (IAS) of New York is proud to present a fundraising event in support of a young Iranian scientist. Dr. Roksana Sasanfar is presently performing research on identifying the genetic markers of the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Harvard Medical School. Dr Sasanfar will share her personal experience and her scientific project in the field of Autism genetic research performed in Iran as well as at Harvard Medical School with us.
We are also honored to host Doctors Susan Santangelo, Associate Professor of Psychology and Epidemiology at the Harvard Medical School and Manzar Ashtari Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. They will shed more light on this exponentially increasing neuro-developmental disorder.
You do not have to be a physician to attend this event. The event will be educational for all and presentations will be tailored to the audience. All will benefit from the discussion.
The program will be followed by live classical and traditional Persian music as well as light refreshments.
