RECIPIENT of the Kraft Family Fund for Intercultural & Interfaith Awareness, and cosponsored by the Office of the University Chaplain and the Nawaya Network
Join Turath, CISA, and the Turkish Club the week of November 10th for a weeklong film series. Our goal is to present films that are representative of a vast array of cultural, social, and political identities, and raise awareness about regional issues and their cinematic reflections and reverberations in relation to our central theme. "Insan," a word common to all three languages of Arabic, Persian, and Turkish, refers to man and encompasses the metaphorical and philosophical issues that concern the human race and mankind, used in a variety of contexts.
The screenings are completely free and open to the public, and purely in the interest of promulgating Arab, Iranian, and Turkish culture and its various related issues across geographies.
