Great Neck Library's Literary Series presents author Jasmin Darznik. She will discuss and sign copies of her moving new book "The Good Daughter: A Memoir of My Mother's Hidden Life." Dr. Darznik, professor of 20th Century and contemporary American literature at Washington and Lee University, will speak about how in her early 20s, she found a photograph of her mother as a bride in Tehran, taken with a groom who was not her father, and how that experience led her to uncover a family secret.
