The Speaker: Jamshid A. Marvasti, M.D., was born in Tehran. He received his medical degree in Iran and came to the USA in 1973. He received further medical training in psychiatry from 1973-1978. Since that time he has practiced in Manchester, CT. He has written numerous articles and chapters of books. Dr. Marvasti is the author/editor of four books, including Child Suffering in the World (2000), Psychiatric Treatment of Victims and Survivors of Sexual Trauma (2004), Psychiatric Treatment of Sexual Offenders (2004), and Psycho-Political Aspects of Suicide Warriors, Terrorism and Martyrdom (2008).
There is a flat cost of $15 per person for dinner, salad, soft drinks, tea, coffee, tax and tip.
