A THEATRICAL CELEBRATION OF IRANIAN MOVEMENT TRADITIONS
Renowned Iranian dancer and choreographer, Farzaneh Kaboli is teaming up with a Canadian cast of nine dancers, hosted by Ida Meftahi’s newly established dance company, Vashton Dance. The group will stage Kaboli’s new work “This Dance, I Wish…” (Raqsi Chunin). This full-length production, inspired by a verse of Rumi, will showcase a collection of Kaboli’s new choreographies. This is the first time Kaboli is presenting her work outside of Iran since the Islamic Revolution.
