The story of the warrior Rustum and his son Sohrab is a beloved tale from the Iranian epic, Ferdowsi's Shahnama. Zaraawar Mistry's solo work intertwines the ancient legend with a contemporary tragi-comic story of a modern day Parsi family from Mumbai. Playing a dozen different characters, Mistry performs a riveting drama of family, war and migration. Music performed live by Persian music virtuosos Tim O'Keefe and Maryam Yusefzadeh.
