We will be firing up the BBQ, Persian and Syrian style, at Kau & Co on the afternoons of Sunday, November 20 and Sunday, December 11.
Enjoy a social and delicious feast lovingly predpared by our brand new cooking instructor Nayran (a cafe owner from Syria) and well known and much loved cooking instructor Hamed (a cafe owner from Iran).
You will enjoy a special selection of Middle Eastern style salads, mezze and rice to accompany your authentically Persian BBQ'd meats.
This is also a family-friendly event, kids and toddlers are very welcome and encouraged!
What is free to feed?
Free to feed is a pop-up cooking school with all classes run by refugees and asylum seekers. By attending free to feed classes and events you are directly contributing towards the training and meaningful employment of our fabulous cooks!
