Mandurah Performing Arts Centre in partnership with Healthway and Kaleidoscope Multicultural Arts Management, are lighting up the Mandurah terrace with music and dance from around the world.
From the old worlds to the new world, the Hot Shore Shuffle concert series showcases a diversity of high quality music and dance from around the globe at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. Enjoy these free Sunday matinees featuring some of our top multicultural talent.
Sahra are an innovative contemporary band that play beautiful Persian music inspired by a Persian classical repertoire. The trio showcase traditional Persian instrumentation played with fine musicianship and finesse by Reza Mirzaei on saz and guitar, Esfandiar Shahmir on nay and Saeed Danesh on tombak and daf.
They will be joined by the local Mandurah Kereshemeh dancers led by Mehrangiz Kalani who will perform stunning Persian dances. Come and enjoy Sahra’s creative interpretation of traditional Persian music with a contemporary context, and graceful Persian dance by Kereshemeh.
There will be a dance workshop mid performance to get the audience involved in the vibrant movements of Persia and Oxfam will have a craft stall setup.
