Story and Song, is the true story of Iranian immigrants who left Iran after the Islamic revolution and scattered throughout the world in search of a better future. It is an untold story of transformation; and the price we all paid as an immigrant in order to mix and match. Story and Song, is the story of losing and gaining; stories of growth and achievements; stories of who we were, where we came from and who we became as a citizen of the world.
Ziba Shirazi is an Iranian American writer, poet, singer and storyteller who is completing her master’s thesis in communications. Her performance, 'Story and Song' will recount stories about the lives of Iranian immigrants.
