Join us as Iranian author, Parvaneh Bahar, speaks about her new memoir The Poet's Daughter. Bahar’s father, Malek o’Shoara Bahar, was declared Iran’s Prince of Poets in 1904. His daughter’s memoir looks back to her father’s work in support of Iranian independence and democracy, and to the campaign for women’s rights that cost him his own freedom and sent the family into exile.
