Parviz Meshkatian, one of Iran's best musical masterminds, legendary composer, and Santur player passed away last month at the age of 54. Musicians and poets will celebrate his successful life and music in a small gathering at Jan Popper Hall, UCLA.
UCLA's professors and students as well as some of LA's local musicians will be performing and reciting poetry as a tribute to his memory.
