Dr.Mohammad Ali Modjtahedi (Sept.23,1908 - July 1,1997) was a lifetime educator, highly respected university professor, and the cherished principal of the prestigious Alborz High School in Tehran, Iran. He was also the founding President of the Sharif University of Technology (originally Aryamehr Technical University) and Chancellor of Tehran Polytechnic University (currently Amirkabir University of Technology).
Join us in celebrating the achievements of a brilliant educator in honor of his dreams for our future. Each guest will be presented with a DVD highlighting Dr. Modjtahedi’s lifetime achievements and his 1988 speech made during a visit to Los Angeles.
Light dinner and entertainment will be provided. Tickets: $50 per person.
Due to the limited seating available in the Faculty Center, tickets must be purchased in advance.
