The master throat singers of Chirgilchin and Persian classical music virtuosos of Lian Ensemble will perform music from their joint album The Window. The project is a unique fusion of the ancient shamanic and Buddhist traditions of Tuva and the classical and Sufi music of Iran. The two groups began playing together in 2008 at the World Festival of Sacred Music, and went on to release The Window in 2010. Join us for a rare opportunity to see these two amazing ensembles on one stage.
