Farhang Foudnation presents the 5th Annual Celebration of Shab-e Yalda UCLA's Schoenberg Hall in collaboration with the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
Join us as we welcome the arrival of the winter solstice, an ancient Persian tradition! A night of music, poetry and storytelling featuring the world's first female Epic Story Teller (Naqal) Gordafarid, music by the brilliant Rosha Ensemble under the direction of Mehrdad Arabi, with orchestration by Hamed Poursaee and featuring special guest vocalists Arash Avin and Chloe Pourmorady and special guest musician Amir Hosein Pourjavady.
