IAAB is excited to present Camp Javan, a leadership camp for rising sixth through eighth graders. Inspired by the acclaim over Camp Ayandeh, Camp Javan is tailored to the unique challenges and potentials of the middle school years.
Camp Javan has the dual mission of empowering campers with: a deeper understanding of culture and identity as youth within the Iranian diaspora, and the confidence and skills to be leaders within their communities.
Campers leave with a stronger sense of self and responsibility for others, lifelong friendships, and the necessary skills to lead both within and outside of the Iranian diaspora community. As a non-political and non-religious camp, Camp Javan is open to all races and all creeds. The Iranian diaspora community is diverse and vibrant, a characteristic that Camp Javan represents, embraces, and celebrates.
