The Bahar Choir is the largest Iranian choir in Europe. The choir was founded in Paris in 2010 with the support of the Bahar Cultural Association.
Bahar Choir are calling for choir members in preparation for 2023 and 2024 performances in the USA and Canada. No prior experience is required for this call and there is no age limit.
Arash Fouladvand, the lead musical composer, conductor and the founder
of Bahar Choir, along with the East-Paris Philharmonic Orchestra have
come together to perform and promote Iranian music, poetry and culture
through the performance of well-known Iranian traditional and contemporary pieces.
Arash Fouladvand holds a PhD from the Institute of French Petroleum and
a degree in Harmony and Orchestration. He is the youngest conductor who
has ever worked with UNESCO. Members of the East-Paris Philharmonic Orchestra are mostly graduates of “conservatoire international de musique” and Music schools in France. Arash’s masterfully composed choral harmonies and virtuosity of a multinational orchestra, has brought the rich traditional music of Iran and Central Asia out of shadow and have been presented to the world.
