“A Survey on the Progression of Persian Poetry”
It is our utmost pleasure to announce Professor Ahmad Karimi-Hakkak as PACSA’s Distinguished Lecture Series speaker for Spring 2018. Dr. Hakkak is a world-renowned professor of Persian language and literature, and Iranian culture and civilization. He has written nineteen books and over one hundred major scholarly articles that have been translated into eight languages. He has also served as President of the International Society for Iranian Studies and several other professional academic organizations.
PACSA, in collaboration with USC’s Iranian Studies program, is hosting “A Survey on the Progression of Persian Poetry” on Sunday, February 11, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This event includes two 90 minute lectures and an hour lunch break. The second half of the session includes an interactive dialogue with the audience.
PACSA, founded in 2011, seeks to educate, engage, and empower Iranian-American Trojans through cultural dialogue & community building.
