Rebirth is a combined art performance created by Shirin Majd, based on poems by the distinguished Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad. The internationally recognised contemporary ballet dancer, Shahrokh Moshkin Ghalam and the prodigious Australian-Iranian soprano singer Shirin Majd will be complemented by visual art to bring to life Farrokhzad’s poems. The poems will narrate songs for the Non-Persian speaker.
Rebirth is a collective work by both Iranian and non-Iranian artists, connecting our unique cultures through the inspiration of art.
