Light of Music has put together an inspiring and beautiful performance which will take you through Mowlana Jalaledin Balkhi’s (also known as ‘Rumi’ a 13th century mystical poet) journey through life in five different stages,each narrated in Mowlana’s own words from Divan-e-Shams.The poetry will be recited in both Persian and English along with vocalists singing some of the illuminating verses. This will be accompanied by music with traditional Iranian instruments and some beautiful sama dancing.
