A sarcastic view of fame and film festivals, Red Carpet is director Reza Ataran’s second feature film. A stage-struck, third- rate Iranian actor and playwright, with high hopes of becoming a professional actor, arrives in Cannes, France, to meet Steven Spielberg and ask him for help to become famous… but in this tragicomedy, the reality doesn’t quite match up to his expectations.
