The film opens with Nabat having an argument with her brother on a car park, the reason of the dispute between the two siblings eludes us as well as the young man who offers them a lift. In the meantime, the owner of the car also takes a woman and her baby with him and the five of them are now driving southward from Qom city, on gravel and bumpy roads to Naein. As the car begins its journey through arid landscapes, it seems as if the naked desert surrounding the protagonists is progressively unveiling their secrets and lives. By eavesdropping conversations in the car and being the direct witness of many events, the driver gets involved in unexpected situations and stories. This journey and these encounters are going to shake his certainties...
