Farad Azima is an industrialist, technology entrepreneur and a philanthropist. An alumnus of Leeds University (1972), he founded Mission Electronics in 1977 followed by Cyrus Electronics in 1981. Later he headed two UK public companies from 1991 to 2003, Verity Group Plc and NXT Plc - both involved in manufacturing and scientific research; and both listed on the London Stock Exchange.
