We’re getting together with friends on Sunday 25 August for lunch from 2pm onwards. You’re invited to attend and please also invite along your Iranian and non-Iranian friends too.
The purpose is to eat, relax and catch up with friends and socialise. This is not a ticketed event. You just pay for what you eat. Simple.
Alounak has been chosen as it’s located near Kensington Olympia OverGround station as well as being convenient for the Notting Hill Carnival, Westfield (White City), Holland Park and of course Farahzad Lounge which is just a few doors away.
If you want to attend the Carnival, you may like to go to it before you attend lunch as after lunch we’re planning to move along to Farahzad Lounge to have tea/coffee and snacks, play backgammon and/or ghelyoun (shisha) etc. and to just relax away the afternoon into the evening. Possibly do anything else that people suggest afterwards.
