The Nour Festival of Arts 2015, dedicated to the best of contemporary arts and culture from the Middle East and North Africa, will run during 3 weeks in London, from 20 October to 8 November, in different venues across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It's a festival dedicated to the best of contemporary arts and culture from the MENA region. It features different arts forms ranging from theatre, cinema, literature, to dance, music, and even food. There will also be several exhibitions, talks, and workshops. The artists and MENA-lovers taking part will have the opportunity to share their work and views with their London/UK audiences, and to freely address topical themes such as the crisis in Syria, women's rights, exile and identity, etc.

- Opera "Silk Moth", 1 November, 20th Century Theatre: Each year an estimated 5,000 women worldwide are murdered by their own families in ‘honour killings’, 12 of them here in the UK. Silk Moth places onstage a Mother. This one-woman performance raises powerful questions: what is her role in this horrific ‘tradition’? Is she a victim, submissive, or coldly complicit?
