A panel of specialists discuss elements of musical development in Iran over the past century. The panel is chaired by Roya Arab, archaeologist, musician and Honorary Research Assistant, Institute of Archaeology, UCL.

Jane Lewisohn is a research associate at SOAS, University of London, Music Department and Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, UK. Dr Malihe Maghazei is a research fellow at the LSE Middle East Centre, working on the New Trend of Intellectuals in Iran. Laudan Nooshin is Senior Lecturer in Ethnomusicology at City University London.
