The purpose of the conference is to provide a venue for the best current research on Iran’s economy and to generate information and encouragement for future high quality research in this area. All papers will be subject to assessment by the Program Committee.
In recent years, three successful conferences on the Iranian Economy have been held in the USA (at the Universities of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USC and Chicago). The London conference in 2011 builds on these initiatives to ensure high quality international research on Iran’s economy continues to receive the attention and priority it merits.
