Payvand, the international Society of Persian Speaking People was launched in 1993 with the prime objective of fostering better understanding of Tajikistan culture and the role of Persian language in better networking between Persian speaking people living outside Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Iran.
Launching Tajikistan Film Festival in collaboration with Tajikistan Embassy in London, Tajikistan Charitable Trust and Harrow Iranian Community Association is a step in fulfilling Payvand's objectives.
