This is to announce that the annual meeting of the Jaleh Esfahani Cultural Foundation on Saturday 29th February at Brunei Gallery, SOAS, is cancelled due to concerns for the Corona virus spread. The trustees of the foundation felt that they could not mitigate the risk of attendance of people who have recently returned from the countries that are viewed as a sources of spread of the virus, or have been in contact with such people.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We hope the situation will soon improve and we will be able to hold our annual meeting.

Jaleh Esfahani Cultural Foundation's annual event will take place on Saturday February 29th at Brunei Gallery Lecture Theatre, SOAS, University of London at SOAS. Doors open at 5:45. The event is organised in partnership with SOAS Middle East Institute. At this event, the winners of the 10th Jaleh Esfahani Poetry Prize will be announced. We aim to make this a rich cultural event with Persian poetry, talk, music. Also, there will be a reception. Please note all proceedings will be in Farsi.
