On September 7th, Shayan Mazroei, a 22-year old student, was tragically murdered by a known white supremacist. According to witnesses, Shayan was targeted because he was Iranian American.
There will be a vigil in memory of Shayan on Monday, September 28, in conjunction with a press conference. We are calling on authorities to investigate whether this was a hate crime and seek justice for Shayan and his family.
