“Born in 1361”is a screenplay written by” Naghmeh Samini “who is one of the most popular and powerful writers in Iran. Her two last works, “ Shahrzad” and “ Concert Theater Si” were both very successful and are widely known and loved by the audience In this play we are observing the story of a girl who was born in a basement when Tehran is under attack during the Iran-Iraq wartime.“Nava” - who is the main character- starts the story in the womb with her twin sister who dies before birth. Her twin leaves a scratch on Nava’s face that remains with her for her life.
