The program will feature works by Bach, Rameau, Scarlatti, Chopin, Purcell, Tchaikovsky, Javad Maroufi, Fariborz Lachini and Marcel Stephani. The proceeds from the concert will benefit the bone marrow registry for the Persian-American community supported by PACI (Persian American Cancer Institute).

About Azadeh Raoufi:
Azadeh Raoufi was Born in Mashad, Iran. She started her piano lessons with Miss Haleh Khordand. She then continued her lessons with Professor Gagik Babaeian in Tehran. She moved to US to continue her education in Music. She received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance along with a Bachelor of Art in Computer Science from University of Iowa where she studied piano with Dr Ksenia Nosikova, Dr. Alan Huckleberry and Dr. Rene Lecuona. Two years later she received her Masters in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the same university. She got a three-year fellowship from Texas Tech University and a Teaching Assistant opportunity for Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano. She started the DMA in Texas but soon moved to University of Southern California to experience a whole new world of Early Music. She received a Graduate Certificate degree in Harpsichord Performance in Early Music. She is now receiving her Doctor of Musical Arts in Early Music and Harpsichord Performance from University of Southern California
