Bam 6.6 is a documentary film which displays “how individual human beings overcome religious and political barriers to unite in recovery. It is the story of the human condition. The film weaves together stories of survival, loss, and healing, as the humanity of the Iranian people is explored through the prism of the devastating 2003 earthquake that struck at the heart of Bam, an ancient Iranian village.
The subjects come from different walks of life - A Jewish-American woman, an American businessman, and the Iranian residents of Bam.”
Ms. Adele Freedman one of the earthquake survivors and a subject of the film along with the director, Mr. Jahangir Golestan-Parast will be present to talk about their experiences during the earthquake tragedy and making the documentary.
