Tirgan Feast or “Jashn-e-Aab Reezan”, one of the ancient Iranian traditions, is celebrated on the 13th day of “Tir” in persian calendar which lies on the 4th day of July. The word “Tir” or “Tishtar” is the name of one of the shiniest stars. Iranians honored “Tir” because it was known as the “Creator of Rain” and whenever it shined in the sky, it brought the good news of rain.
We will have water-gun fighting this year as well.
Tickets: Will be sold at the door (cash only)
