Téhéran, de nos jours. Trois histoires distinctes. Un couple bourgeois, tout d’abord, confronté à la violence domestique. La femme va-t-elle porter plainte aux autorités ? Un mollah, ensuite, entamant une négociation surréaliste avec le voleur qui lui a dérobé son portefeuille. Un couple de personnes âgées, enfin, dont le téléviseur est cassé mais qui n’ose pas ouvrir la porte au jeune réparateur.
