Camp Javan has the dual mission of empowering campers with: a deeper understanding of culture and identity as youth within the Iranian diaspora, and the confidence and skills to be leaders within their communities.
As a non-political and non-religious camp, Camp Javan is open to all races and all creeds. All activities are in English and no prior knowledge of Persian is required.
Applicants must:
- Be rising 6th through 8th grader
- Demonstrate an interest in developing leadership skills
