Nowruz marks the first day of spring or Equinox and the beginning of the year in the Iranian calendar. The moment night and day are equalized is calculated precisely every year and families gather together to observe the rituals. The Iranian Students Association, Office of International Students & Scholars, and the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education invite students to experience Iranian culture for New Year inside an event called Iranian Cultural Immersion.
