Nowrooz is the traditional festival of spring which starts at the exact moment of the vernal equinox, in Berlin time 17:15:28 PM commencing the start of the spring.
It is considered over 3000 years as the start of the New Year. The name comes from Avestan meaning "new day/daylight". And nowadays it's celebrating in Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Haft-sin is a traditional custom in the Nowruz. Actually it is a table setting with 7 different items which its essential items letters start with (Sin-Seen "س"), however there are some items in this table setting which do not start with seen.
Everyone is welcome to celebrate and feel free to bring and share customs for haft-sin and foods for dinner together.
