GOL's Performance at ‘Borders’: Opening Night
GOL perform first gig of 2013 for the Opening night of the Borders Art Exhibition at the Arts Complex as part of the Edinburgh Iran Festival 2013
We will be performing as a 4-piece (Drums, Bass, Keys, Vox) tracks from our forthcoming new album Strange Times.
At the opening of the Fesitval's art exhibition, Borders, there will include a live musical performance by ‘GOL’, a UK-based Iranian band formed in Edinburgh in September 2009. Their fresh and funky fusion of traditional Persian arrangements, electronica, jazz and world music have spread waves of excitement from Scotland to the Middle East and USA, leading to numerous slots on BBC Persian TV and a busy summer of festival performances in the UK.
