Celebrate our 10-year anniversary with us!
Edinburgh Iranian Festival will be celebrating its 10th year in style with a variety of cultural events for all tastes and ages in the first week of March 2019.
We will have a special day at National Museum of Scotland that includes Iranian and Scottish bagpipes and dance; an amazing film season at the Filmhouse; a Shirin & Farhad theatre show; an Iranian cookery class; crafts and fashion fair together with an exciting catwalk at our very own Bazaar at the Nomads Tent; a book launch at the Lighthouse bookshop; and a whole host of other events for adults and children.
This year’s festival also features Q&A sessions with some of the most celebrated Iranian film artists such as Fateme Motamed Arya, Ahmad Kiarostami, Nasrin Mirshab and Abolfazl Saffary following the screenings of their movies.
