Iranian American artist Shirin Neshat is known for her exceptional photography, films and videos that deal with issues of gender, politics and identity.
This exhibition is free with museum admission and is organized by the Detroit Institute of Arts. Generous support has been provided by the MetLife Foundation, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, The Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, and Marjorie & Maxwell Jospey Foundation.
