Farhang Foundation proudly continues its longstanding partnership with the Pacific Symphony of Orange County to present Echoes of Freedom, a powerful musical celebration honoring the enduring voices, artistic legacy, and resilience of Iranians.
Taking place at the magnificent Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, this special Nowruz concert brings together internationally acclaimed artists and the 80 member Pacific Symphony orchestra for an inspiring evening that honors Iranian culture through the universal language of music.
Led by Pacific Symphony Music Director Laureate Maestro Carl St.Clair, the program features renowned composer and conductor Maestro Shardad Rohani, celebrated guitarist and composer Babak Amini, internationally acclaimed countertenor Cameron Shahbazi, and soprano Sara Hamidi making her U.S. stage debut. The evening will also include compelling performances by dancers Tara Ghassemieh and Vitor Luiz, creating a multidisciplinary experience that blends symphonic music, voice, and movement.
Presented in observance of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, Echoes of Freedom offers a powerful moment of reflection, unity, and hope—honoring the strength, and enduring spirit of Iranian artists and communities around the world.
