"Mystery of Existence" is the new project by Farzin Darabi Far (composer, Tar and Setar player). The compositions are in the modes "Shour" and "Dashti". Mystery of Existence presents the classical persian music with modern elements, which adds a new dimension to the music.
Lyrics are by the Iranian mystic-poets such as Attar, Saadi and Rumi.
Farzin Darabi Far is accompanied by high-class musicians such as Shahoo Andalibi (Ney) and Mehrdad Nasehi (Kamancheh), which currently
performed with the greatest living Iranian vocalist, "M.R. Shajarian".
Two months ago during 12 nights of concerts, they have had more than
60,000 spectactors in Tehran.
Peyman Nasehpour and Kamran Yaghoobi add rhythm to the ensemble.
They are among the best percussion players in Iran and played
with the great masters of Iran such as M.R. Lotfi, Nasrollah Nasehpour, Madjid Derakhshani and Masoud Shoari….
It is interesting to note that the singers of the ensemble are Hossein Baharbin who has played already with master Hossein Alizadeh and
(Mrs.) Bahar Modiri. Sasan Azodi on Barbat (Lute), one of the oldest string instruments of the world, will take the low register parts of the group.
