Barbat Ensemble
The Barbat Ensemble features a young generation of Iranian musicians who bring a new breath to the ancestral Persian music through their original compositions. This Ensemble is composed of five instrumentalists and singers descending from renowned musical families from the Northern regions of Iran. Recently established in Europe, they propose today to an international audience a new musical experience at the crossroad of their traditional cultures, both classical and popular, and other artistic inspirations that they continuously assimilate during their travels and collaborations. In 2017 the Barbat Ensemble released their first album: “Daryavar”.
