Live Stand-Up Comedian, Maz Jobrani
Maz Jobrani is an Iranian-American comedian, actor and a founding member of Comedy Central’s The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour. Maz is known for comedy that focuses on his family, the topic of race and the misunderstandings surrounding Middle-Easterners in America. Maz is currently set to co-star in Superior Donuts, a new CBS sitcom slated to come out in the Spring of 2017. He has had three Showtime standup comedy specials, Brown and Friendly, I Come In Peace and most recently, I’m Not a Terrorist, But I’ve Played One On TV, which is now available on Netflix.
He performs stand-up live around the world, including the Middle East where he performed in front of the King of Jordan. In the Spring of 2016 he performed at the White House where he had the privilege of introducing Michelle Obama. His tour also took him to the Kennedy Center where he headlined a show as part of their 2016 season. He was a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central in 2007.
