The Epic Players of Chicago, a non-profit theatrical group, launching a program entitled: “Exploring the Humanities through the Persian Culture.” The principal objective of this program is to introduce a non-Iranian audience to the Persian arts and Iranian culture. In pursuit of this goal, the Epic Players has organized an exhibition of Persian art, theatre and traditional Iranian live music, all in concurrence with the mid-west premier of Bahram Beyzaie's play, Four Boxes.
This program will run three consecutive weekends at the Copernicus Cultural and Civic Center (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), beginning Friday March 27th and ending Sunday April 12th. A reception will follow immediately after the Saturday March 28 performance of Bahram Beyzaie’s Four Boxes.
All programs are free except for the play and movie viewings.
